60’s illustrations.

since i had to be alive in the 1960‘s for this to be “nostalgia” for me, i’m not quite sure how to define my admiration for these stylish vintage illustrations by andy virgil and robert mcginnis

tomboy.

just watched tomboy, a french film released last year, and i most emphatically recommend it!

the gorgeous cinematography in the trailer is what piqued my interest at first, but i found the film adorable, great, lovely and beautifully endearing.

all the children play their parts wonderfully – i caught myself smiling dozens of times.

please note: there is nudity and the subject matter and certain situations in the film might make some people uncomfortable. (imdb‘s “content advisory” page for this film is helpful to those with any doubts.)
